Information collected

SyntaxVault may collect account information such as username, email address, account role, password hash, session identifiers, creator profile text, listings, files, reviews, reports, purchases, policy acceptances, and security/moderation logs.

Payments and payouts

Stripe processes payment and creator-onboarding information. SyntaxVault stores identifiers and transaction/accounting information needed to operate the marketplace, such as Checkout, PaymentIntent, Charge, transfer, fee, refund, and connected-account identifiers. SyntaxVault is not intended to store full payment-card numbers.

Files and technical data

Uploaded files and preview media are stored for marketplace operation. SyntaxVault may calculate hashes and scan files for technical risk indicators. Server logs may include IP addresses, timestamps, request information, and security events.

How information is used

Information is used to create accounts, authenticate users, display listings, deliver purchases, route creator proceeds, prevent fraud or abuse, respond to reports, enforce policies, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.

Sharing

Information may be shared with service providers that operate essential infrastructure, including payment processing, database hosting, object storage, and application hosting. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or the integrity of the marketplace.

Public information

Public usernames, creator bios, published listings, reviews, and other content intentionally submitted for public display can be viewed by other users.

Retention

SyntaxVault may retain transaction, licensing, security, moderation, and legal records where needed for marketplace operation, fraud prevention, dispute handling, accounting, or legal compliance. Removing an account does not necessarily require deletion of records that must reasonably be retained.

Your requests

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or other treatment of personal information. Submit a privacy request through the Legal Notice form and select “Privacy request.” Verification may be required before action is taken.

Security

SyntaxVault uses measures such as hashed passwords, secure production cookies, private object storage, access-controlled downloads, and server-side authorization. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Changes

Material revisions will be reflected by an updated effective/version date.
